Mechanically stabilized earth (MSE) walls and slopes are constructed with “reinforced soil”, consisting of horizontal soil reinforcing elements such as geogrids and geotextile sheets and a facing to prevent erosion.
This presentation will provide an overview of the evolution, benefits, and applications of MSE walls. It will also cover construction methods complete with project examples.
